Within a year of their first gig, The Rock Of Travolta had played in front of 45,000 people whilst supporting Radiohead at their immense South Park gig, having been invited personally by Yorke and Co. TROT have played four UK headline tours, recorded a John Peel session and released two EPs plus an album - all of which were met with critical acclaim. Following all this and a significant line up change, the band took on a new approach to writing and entered a self-imposed exile, taking time to ensure that the new record did justice to their vision. Often hailed as one of the originators of Post Rock, TROT are one of the UK's driving forces of Instrumental Rock.

Nice Weather For Airstrikes Records is an Independent UK based Record Label and Music Company based in the South of England. Predominantly specialising in Post Rock, Shoegaze and Soundscape.

NWfA was set up to promote innovative and forward thinking music, and also puts on events, tours and a Brighton based free entry post rock Festival every year in May as part of the Brighton Fringe.
Demotape policy
Nice Weather For Airstrikes greatly encourage artists to get in touch, have a chat, and send through music.
CD or CDr demos are preferred, but links to myspace or downloads are ok and will probably get listened to quicker. Do not send mp3s as email attachments, they will be deleted, send a link to where it can be streamed or downloaded instead.

Nice Weather are there to take forward new and innovative music. Please get in touch. However, do not be offended if we cannot get back to you quickly or work with you at all. There are only a few of us, with little time, we will endeavour to try our best!
