2009.05.29 Fringe Festival
Thanks to all who attended, played, and helped in the Nice Weather For Airstrikes Records Festival. It was a great success. Packed each night, and we were even able to afford to pay each band via the generous and adoring audience. So thanks especially to Phil the bucket man, Charming Dave the estate man, Ant the partial sound man, Chippy, Hollie and the staff at The Druids, and all who helped make this event so great. We shall be back next year...
2009.03.20 Monsters Build Mean Robots
Are set to record their second album in early summer 09. A loopladen epic containing many tracks performed live by the group, this album has been hailed as their potential 'breakthrough' piece by the band. There will also be a summer tour, in late July and early August, for the UK.

Nice Weather For Airstrikes Records was set up to promote new and innovative music without the greed and corruption of the mainstream industry.

The bands own all their copyrights and are free to do as they wish. This is how it should be. With major labels the bands are made to pay off all recording, promotion and advance costs through record sales, yet the record company still own the recordings even after all debts have been paid. If you get a mortgage, and pay off the whole lot, do you expect the bank to still own your house??

The industry is undergoing a massive change at the moment, finally the artists are overthrowing the oppressors, and truly great music can and will breakthrough.
Demotape Policy
Nice Weather For Airstrikes greatly encourage artists to get in touch, have a chat, and send through music.

CD or CDr demos are preferred, but links to myspace or downloads are ok and will probably get listened to quicker. Do not send mp3s as email attachments, they will be deleted, send a link to where it can be streamed or downloaded instead.

Nice Weather are there to take forward new and innovative music. Please get in touch. However, do not be offended if we cannot get back to you quickly or work with you at all. There are only a few of us, with little time, we will endeavour to try our best!
